Malaysia ยท Cyberjaya & Putrajaya

Cyberjaya and Putrajaya

Cyberjaya and Putrajaya are twin planned cities south of Kuala Lumpur. Putrajaya is the federal administrative centre, home to government ministries and agencies. Cyberjaya was built as a technology city and hosts tech companies, shared service and outsourcing centres, data centres, universities and many startups, often operating with digital-economy status through MDEC. I serve clients in Malaysia, and businesses here have a distinct profile: technical, process-driven and frequently selling to government or large enterprises.

The local business landscape

Cyberjaya's companies include regional support centres handling customer service in several languages, software houses, data centre operators and the contractors and suppliers that serve them. Around Putrajaya, many businesses work with or for government bodies, where tenders, documentation and formal communication matter. Both cities have large populations of young professionals and students, many commuting from the Klang Valley.

How my services apply

  • AI email automation for teams that handle high volumes of structured requests: categorising, drafting accurate replies from approved documentation, and routing exceptions to the right person.
  • AI phone agents for support lines that need multilingual first-line handling, with clear handover rules for anything sensitive.
  • Websites and SEO: B2B and government-facing buyers check websites for credibility, certifications and clear capability statements. Fast, well-structured sites with proper schema help.
  • PR and press: technology and investment stories, such as a new facility, a local hiring push or a product built in Malaysia, have a natural audience in national business media.

Practical notes

  • Enterprise and government clients will ask about data handling. Document where your AI tools process data and how long they keep it; see my privacy comparison.
  • Formal communication in Bahasa Malaysia is often expected when dealing with government agencies; do not leave official correspondence to automation without review.
  • Automated replies must never make commitments in a tender or procurement process.
