Serving clients in Australia

I serve clients in Australia with AI automation, websites and SEO, automated marketplace selling, PR and press, and shoot production. Australian businesses share a lot with my clients in Singapore and Malaysia, such as small teams and customers who expect fast answers, but the rules, channels and tone are different.

Why Australian businesses automate

Australia's small businesses run lean and labour is expensive. A tradie, a clinic or a three-person consultancy cannot staff the phone and the inbox all day, so after-hours calls go to voicemail and enquiries wait until the evening. Australian customers also value a plain, friendly tone and are quick to spot corporate language. Good automation answers quickly and sounds like a person, then hands over when judgment is needed.

How my services apply

Practical notes for Australia

  • Privacy: the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply to many businesses. Some small businesses with turnover of A$3 million or less are currently exempt, with exceptions such as health service providers. Reforms are progressing.
  • Marketing: the Spam Act 2003 requires consent and an unsubscribe for commercial electronic messages, and the Do Not Call Register applies to telemarketing calls.
  • Consumer law: the Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC take misleading claims and fake reviews seriously. Automated replies must not overpromise.
  • Time zones: Sydney and Melbourne observe daylight saving; Brisbane does not. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are two to three hours behind the east coast.
  • Payments: PayID and card payments are standard.

Cities

  • Sydney: finance, professional services and the country's largest business market.
  • Melbourne: creative industries, events, retail and tech.
  • Brisbane: a fast-growing market heading towards the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Also serving clients in Singapore and Malaysia. My privacy comparison covers all three countries.
