one-north
one-north, near Buona Vista, is Singapore's research and startup cluster: Biopolis for biomedical science, Fusionopolis for infocomm and engineering, Mediapolis for media, and a dense mix of startups, venture builders, incubators and corporate innovation labs nearby. I serve clients in Singapore, and the startups here are often the most natural fit for automation: small teams, big ambitions and no time for admin.
The local business landscape
Companies at one-north tend to be technical and early-stage. Founders sell, hire, raise money and build product at the same time. Many target regional or global markets from day one, selling into Malaysia, Australia and beyond. Their bottleneck is rarely the product; it is follow-up. Investor emails, partner enquiries, recruitment and customer support all land in the same few inboxes.
How my services apply
- AI email automation: replies in the founder's voice for routine requests, meeting booking with investors and partners across time zones, and a text when something important lands, such as a term sheet or a large customer.
- AI phone agents for startups with a hardware or consumer product that suddenly gets calls they cannot staff.
- PR and press: deep tech is hard to explain. I help turn a technical milestone into a story a journalist and their readers understand, with the Singapore angle editors look for.
- Websites and SEO automation: fast, simple sites that rank, without months of agency process.
- Shoot production: team, lab and product visuals for launches and fundraising, planned around lab safety and access rules.
Practical notes
- Research data and personal data are different things, but both need care. Keep AI tools away from confidential research and patient-related data, and check provider terms before connecting any inbox.
- Selling into several countries early means meeting several privacy laws early. My comparison of Singapore, Malaysia and Australia is a practical starting point.
- If you plan country pages, read one website or several first.
Nearby: Jurong, CBD and Raffles Place. Back to Singapore.
